In this series I set the lighting, the back drop and the framing. I give the subject a remote trigger for the camera and leave the studio. These pictures come without the self-consciousness that can edit conventional portraits.

But, these aren't selfies. The subject does not see the pictures when they are taken, and won't see them until I have made my selection and processed them.
